I have two bottles of Highgrove Laphroaig whisky, cask 136 bottles 161 and 151 bottled 2009 distilled 1997 46%. Does anybody have an idea of how much they are worth now?

You will find some whisky shops trying to sell this bottle for £300 but in a private sale you wont get as much as the shop price.

Here is an example of a bottle of Laphroaig Highgrove 1994 which sold last year at Bonahams auctions for £120 (see Lot 15) This price is exclusive of sales tax, So the seller probably made £100
http://www.bonhams.com/cgi-bin/public.sh/pubweb/publicSite.r?sContinent=EUR&screen=ResultDescPrint&iSaleNo=17981

You may get lucky and get £150 for it but my guess would be £80 - £120, thats just my opinion sometimes you can fetch lots more on the day at auction just depends on the bidders. ebays is probably a good place to sell this bottle just remember to set a suitable reserve you are willing to accept.

Good luck selling it.

If you you are willing to post these bottles worldwide i would say ebay would probably fetch you the most money for them, remember to emphasise in your auction listing the Royal connection and the fact that this unique bottling of Laphroaig wasnt available outside the EU, it may fetch you some higher bids for the US.

I agree if you are willing to ship the Highgrove Laphroaig to the US you may get more money for it.

Probably get £75.00 for them, there is one of the single casks which is slightly rarer but I forget which one. There have now been about 6 different releases now, from 2010 to 2011, i've got three from 2010 and one 2011.

There is one on Whisky Auction now. The 'standard' Highgrove newly released this year I think hit 170euros at Whisky Auction in the last auction.
