Here is a Christmas whisky gift idea for those of you who have some cash to spare. This one is obviously aimed at the luxury end of the gift market.

Bowmore has collaborated with Savile Row tailor Malcolm Plews and the Islay Woollen Mill to create the Bowmore Tweed fabric. Made from the finest British wool, the Tweed has been produced in conjunction with Gordon and Sheila Covell, owners of the Islay Woollen Mill, whose designs have featured in Hollywood blockbuster Braveheart! Whilst the colour palette - blue, grey burnt orange - is routed in Bowmore's core, Islay.

For Christmas, a premium gift experience is available to purchase - whereby buyers will be fitted with a Bowmore Tweed jacket together, as well as a one-to-one whisky tasting with an expert. The package retails at £3000 and also includes 1st class travel to London from anywhere in the UK, a nights stay for 2 at Clerkenwell London Malmaison hotel and lunch for two at Satoria on Savile Row. Plus a bottle of Bowmore 15 whisky with glasses.
