Glasgow's Whisky Festival will return in 2011 on Saturday 19th of November. Tickets will be on sale from December 1st 2010 at The Arches priced Â£20. Book early to avoid disappointment.

We have almost half the stands filled already and will hope to have some more exclusives next year in the form of Abhainn Dearg single malt whisky and Kingsbarns new spirit.

I think i will make a point of picking up a ticket early as i think it may sell ou fast this time.

I will make a point of picking up a ticket from the arches next month as i will be in the city centre at some point going through the nightmare of christmas shopping.

Yes worth picking up a ticket early i think as it may sell out quicker for the 2011 festival given the success of the this years.

Got my Ticket today but with a price increase to Â£21 from Â£15 this year!

What extra will be included in the ticket price????

The ticket price is Â£20 which was stated in the first post in this thread. This year was our first time so tickets were set relatively cheap to encourage people to try a new event. The ticket price is now the same as a day at Whisky Fringe but we have a bigger range of stands to sample from. I think the ticket price is still extremely fair for this event.

Yes fair point just wondered why the increase but this explains it!

NOPE was charged Â£21 by the arches box office! (and says Â£21 on my ticket)

How did you pay for the ticket? I'm guessing that's The Arches booking fee added but I didn't think that was printed on the ticket as a total.

I'll check with them tomorrow.
