I would like to get a high end Glenlivet.

I am considering the 21, 25 and Founders Reserve. I would appreciate some feedback from those who have tried these bottlings.

Thanks.

I havent tried the Glenlivet 21 Founders Reserve, i believe that was exclusive to the distillery visitor centre and was a very limited release of 1824 bottles. I heard it was very good but as i said i have never tried it.

The standard Glenlivet 21 Archive is very good for the price i think, packed with fruit, honey and spice.

The Glenlivet 25 XXV is excellent but you do pay a bit more for this excellence. It is finished in oloroso sherry casks which adds richness and sweetness. This is an absolutely delicious dram. Those sherried triffle and christmas cake descriptions you always hear fit this whisky perfectly.

The Glenlivet 25 really is very good indeed, it costs more but if you are looking to spoil yourself this would be my choice.

As Alastair said the 21 Archive is very good for the price. I have never come across the Glenlivet 21 Founders Reserve

The 25 is stellar! It is like drinking magical honey laced with beautiful women.
