Glengoyne The Christmas Cask II
2nd Bottling December 2011
An unusually slow single cask release.
Selected by the Glengoyne tasting pannel.
Welcome to the second in a series of five releases from cask 790.
Every December untill 2014, you can trace the flavour evolution in this remarkable yet typical Glengoyne sherry butt. rich with hints of rosehip syrup, cocoa beans, oak abd spice, cask 790 still clings to the last of its spirited youthg, but delivers plenty and promises much, much more
Wood type - oloroso sherry, european oak butt, vendemma treated
Distillation date - June 2002
Cask number 790
Bottled - December 2011
Only 100 Bottles
60.5%vol |

Found out by chance, phone around 1pm to ask when it was due out and they said this morning. so jumped in the car and went straight over. Distillery exclusive and one per person couldn't even pick up one for a friend that was going to pay over the phone |

| Thanks JAB - just phoned but they can only sell from the distillery shop, and as I live in Milton Keynes, much as a bottle appeals, it is a tad far to drive! |

| I did open my Glenbridge 40 yo last night though - quite pleasant. I will have to console myself with that. |
