Having tried many of the cheaper Islay's, I thought that I would like to draw your attention to just two, Marks and Spencers Islay at Â£25 a bottle and Sainsburys Islay at Â£14.71 a bottle!!! (on offer at the moment, the normal price is Â£19.71 a bottle)

Both are absolutely fantastic with the M&S having the edge on quality and the sainsbury's on price. Try them if you like but if you don't want to risk it then fair enough :D

I have had a couple of bottles of the Sainsburys Islay malt, a decent whisky especially when on offer. Cheers Roy, i will make a point of picking up a couple of bottles.

It has been a while since i have had the Sainsburys Islay, it was very good last time i had it and certainly worth Â£14.71

I tried my local Sainsburys this afternoon and the Sainsburys Islay malt wasnt on offer it was priced Â£19.88, looks like the offer may have ended Sad

The offer is running till the 24th in both of my local Sainsbury's but unfortunately they only have the Speyside and the Highland although at Â£14.71 it's still a good price Wink
