Hi... I 'm ashamed to admit that I am absolutely clueless when it comes to whiskeys!
An elderly neighbour of mine recently gave me a 35cl bottle of Glenmorangie 10 year old whiskey in a gold tube. She also gave me a bottle of Johnnie Walker 12 year old in a box.
Both of these bottles are in excess of 20 years old. Does this make any difference to either the quality or value of the bottles?
Embarassed to have to ask and show my ignorance...!
Thank you in advance if you can advise me...

Hi Maggie
If they are only from the 1990s they wont be worth much more than you would pay today. If you are lookinjg to sell them i would suggest ebay and state that they are from at least 20 years ago, you may get lucky and catch the attention of a couple of enthusiasts and you may make a few pounds. |
