I always have been but this answer was given to explain the relevance of the cia Bruichladdich link

"@fr1day: CIA (more accurately DTRA) using your webcams to spy on your manuf process (similar to chem weapon process) to train its agents"?

Did they really use the web cams to train agents or was the story the cia thought they were producing weapons of mass destruction using machines in the stillroom.

Apparently the CIA spied on Bruichladdich using their webcam after thinking the equipment was so old they must be manufacturing chemical weapons.

We will never really know for sure if the CIA ever spied on Bruichladdich using webcams but it certainly made a good story at the time and some whisky was released also.

I think the story goes - Bruichladdie received an email from the "Defense Threat Reduction Agency" in the United States; Bruichladdich then realised they were being infiltrated by the American Government monitoring the distillery for chemical weapon processes.

Bruichladdich bottled a couple of bottles to commemorate the amusing story. They were:

Bruichladdich WMD Rocket Whisky of Mass Distinction
Bruichladdich WMD II Yellow Submarine ( i believe this whisky was aptly named as it dived as far as whisky drinlkers were concerned)

Was any of it true, who knows Question

Thanks for the replies its roughly what i thought and answered. Nothing to do with training as the winning answer suggested.

Dont think its worth taking any further but was right annoyed at the time.

On a side note apart from this competition laddie1881 is a good follow on twitter.

The Yellow Sub bottle was brought to the market after a local fisherman found a yellow Royal Navy expermental sub floating out to sea off Bruichladdich. Navy did show up and collect I believe.
