We are delighted to announce that we will be launching a very limited release of natural cask strength, non chill-filtered Bowmore 15 Years Old. This special release of only 750 bottles will be on sale at the Distillery Visitor Centre from 10am on Saturday 26th May.


We have also created a very special commemorative bottling of a Bowmore 1985 vintage. Only 200 bottles of this truly rare and unique spirit will be available from the Distillery Visitor Centre from 10am on Wednesday 30th May.

Malt and Maturation Masterclass

Learn how we work the famous Bowmore Maltbarns from our very own Head Distiller David Turner, listen to Willie Dobbins explain the magical maturation process in the legendary Bowmore No.1 Vaults (our warehouses below sea-level) and watch Andy Davidson demonstrate his cooperage skills. Round it all off with a tasting of two of our newest whiskies outside in the fresh Loch Indaal sea air.


Whisky and Ale Tasting

Have you ever wanted to know what ale matured in a whisky cask tastes like: after this class you will! Compare a bourbon matured ale with a bourbon matured whisky

and a sherry matured ale with a sherry matured whisky. Mark O'Hara and Jeremy Stephens talk you through the influence of wood on both the whisky and the ale - guaranteed an unforgettable experience.

We are very excited to reveal that we will also be introducing two Islay Ales made with Bowmore grist. One matured in a Bowmore bourbon cask and one matured in a Bowmore sherry cask - these will be bottled especially for Bowmore Distillery for
Feis Ile 2012.

Experience Bowmore like never before with a magical evening tasting session in our No.1 Vaults. During this unique masterclass hosted by our Distillery Manager Eddie MacAffer, Willie Dobbins and David Turner, there will be opportunities to sample
some VERY rare and special Bowmore spirit followed by a local seafood buffet in our Visitor Centre.
