Hi guys,
recently I've had a few sessions with 3 or more different drams involved and although I do try to create a sensible order sometimes I feel the whisky isn't as good as if I had it on its own or with just one other. Normally I just rinse the glass and have a mouthful of water and wait a bit but I have seen on here that some people try oatcakes and stuff. Basically anything that would cleanse the palate when I move from region to region or cask strength to 40% etc.
cheers,

Normally just half fill my glass with water and clense my palate with it.
Some tastings i have been to offer oak cakes and shortbread.
also tablet and dark chocolate have been used also.
one even done a sweet and sour tating with the drams using tablet and lime!
