I've noticed over the last year here in Canada more and more young adults in the 20-25 year old range becoming interested not only in imbibing single malt scotch but also in the culture of single malts, the tastings and notes. These are not wealthy high rollers who can buy whatever they want but working folk with young families who are taking it slow and eager to try new selections. It's neat to see. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| I think a lot is spent on marketing by the big whisky players on platforms such as facebook and twitter, whether the younger generations are being tempted to have a closer look at scotch whisky who knows but i have certainly noticed a younger crowd at whisky events in the last few years. |

Your absolutely right. I also think social media plays a role in the osmosis effect. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| I do think both young and older drinkers are discovering premium spirits such as Scotch malt whisky these days for the first time. |
