The wife of one of my colleagues runs Amber restaurant in the Whisky Experience. He promised he'd get me staff discounts on bottles of malt but he's yet to deliver! Crying or Very sad

Yeah it is a bit for tourists but to see the collection IS worth it. Plus the extra malts you can get at the bar and amber restaurant are pretty impressive too

I was in the Whisky Experience a few years ago, it is touristy and there shop wasnt cheap but i didnt expect it to be given its location. I would certainly go again if in Edinburgh just have a look at the huge collection.

That's a very good point. I keep all my boxes and sleeves and they do take up loads of room. The boxes not only have collector value, personal or financial but also protect the Scotch from light.
