I have only ever had the 1st one in the series the WK499 Isabella Fortuna which was excellent. I notice on the World of Whiskies website they list a Old Pulteney WK499 Isabella Fortuna II, anyone tried it, is it as good as the first one?

Keith the Old Pulteney WK499 Isabella Fortuna II is bottled at 46% and not cask strength like the original. I had a quick taste while passing through Glasgow airport last month but it wasnt the quality of the original. It was only a small sample in one of those small plastic measures, so my opinion could change if i was to try a proper measure in a proper tasting glass, it was still a very good whisky but to me it did demonstrate how different a whisky can be at a lower ABV.
