Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2006 Dunlossit Farm is the latest edition of Bruichladdich's Islay Barley Series. Made from barley sown and grown at Dunlossit Farm on the Isle of Islay.



Non chill-filltered, and colouring-free, Bruichladdich's Islay Barley Series "Dunlossit" was bottled at 50% ABV and retails at around £38

I had the Islay Barley 2004 Valinch which was pretty good, but that came from a sherry butt and was bottled at cask strength if i remember correctly. Should be interesting to see how this compares, by the tasting note it sounds like it was bourbon casks this time, perhaps the odd sherry cask in there.
