Found a mention and connection between Compaq the computer company and Scotland and some distilleries. May lead you to further info. Try this link.

| Just a thought, have you tried contacting Jura and asking for some info, sometimes distilleries can be very helpful |

Info from Jura -
Hi John, You seem to have found a picture of a very special rarity. Neither Richard Paterson (master blender and distiller at Whyte and Mackay) or our brand manager Willie Tait have seen it before. Richard had a few guesses about it though: "This looks like a straight bottling for Compaq - a one off. I have checked and we do not have any record of it. When only a small amount is required on occasions these are usually hand bottled straight from existing "bottled"? stocks. The font of the Jura name is taken from the 1980/90's." However, it seems to not be available anymore so you will be very very lucky to find one out there. Hope this helped! |

That's pretty impressive to have such a rare bottle. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."
