I noticed a bottle of Bowmore 40 going for $ 14,895.00 Canadian at the LCBO. It equals 9545.41 pounds. Wow. Two bottles available. Beyond me. Wouldn't mind trying a wee dram of it at one of those elite tastings one hears about occasionally. Probably have to go to a Las Vegas Whisky event or similar for something like that. Anybody ever try it? _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

Luxury tasting events such as Las Vegas, The Whisky Show London and perhaps the new WhiskyLuxe Edinburgh (remains to be seen) next week are great places to taste the rarer whiskies, if you get the chance to attend any of them i am sure you wont regret it. I can highly recommend the whisky show London now run 100% by The Whisky Exchange and i am hoping to visit the Las Vegas Whisky event as i have been to Las Vegas a few times and love the town. _________________ There's no bad whisky. | The Whisky Show London is a brilliant event where i got to taste a number of whiskies which are normally out of my price range, i would imagine the Las Vegas whisky show is every bit as good and done with the Las Vegas style. |
