Hi all,
I am new to this discussion forum and going by some of the advice given i think i will get some answers here. I have 2 bottles of blended whisky and was looking for some information as the info on the internet seems to be somewhat limited.
1st Bottle: Chivas Brothers Royal Salute 21yr Old in a Green wade ceramic/porcelan decanter complete with velvet bag and box.
2nd Bottle: Findlater's Royal Prestige rare scotch whisky made from the 1953 ditillation in a genuine red wade porcelan decanter.
Any help would be grately appreciated

Hi Stuart
The best info i have come across for the Chivas Brothers Royal Salute 21yr Old is on this very site in the Whisky Shopping section.
| Quote: | One of the jewels in the Chivas crown, this is a very special long-aged blend. Royal Salute was first produced in 1953 to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. The name of this exceptional Scotch Whisky comes from the 21 Gun Royal Salute, which is fired as a mark of respect for powerful dignitaries. At her coronation, the crown of Queen Elizabeth II was set in rubies, sapphires and emeralds. These precious stones remain the inspiration for the colours of Royal Salutes handcrafted flagons, therefore bottle colour may vary.
This rich and complex whisky from Chivas is aged for 21 years in oak casks before being bottled in a handcrafted classic Wade ceramic decanter.
Tasting Notes: When you pour yourself a glass of Royal Salute, the first thing you will notice is its rich golden color. Investigate a little more closely and you will sense a balance of fruity, floral, and smoky fragrances. Then, as you savor each sip, an exciting combination of deep, sweet, nutty, smooth, full-bodied flavors reveal themselves; developing into a long, warm and satisfying finish.
