I cant say i have had much experience of what the Speyside distillery produces, only a 12 year old and i only had that because Tesco stocked it a couple of years ago and had it on offer at half price £12.50, it was a pleasant enough speyside region style dram but nothing to inspire me to want to buy more. In fact i dont think i have seen anything else available from the distillery. I guess most of there production is fodder for blends, i may be wrong. It will be interesting to see what the new owners does with it.

Only ever had the Speside 12 year old myself and as you say Gregor a pleasant Speyide style whisky but nothing special. Speyside distillery also produces the Drumguish and Cu Dubh, not tried Cu Dubh but i thought Drumguish was awful.
