Neat-

Nose:Christmas loaf with red and green fruit bits, fudge, toasted marshmallow, floral, meringue and vanilla halva (crushed sesame seed sweet). Very rich and sweet.

Palate:Spice, honey, warm, creamy, cotton balls, mint chocolate and pepper.

Finish:Lingering, creamy, mouth-watering surge, old honey, dessicated fruity undertones and wine-like marmalade.


This is a dram that has crystallized its sweetness over 32 years and has created a cornucopia of fruity, sugary, candy aromas on the nose, offers complexity on the palate and mature flavors on the finish.

Sounds great, i have only ever tried a Gordon & Macphail bottling of Mosstowie, i recall it was very brown sugary sweet and quite spicy.

Sounds like one i would like. Mosstowie is one i havent had the pleasure of yet, i should really make a point in trying it before it becomes unaffordable to drink.
