]Hello,
My dad has a Glenfiddich Ancient reserve 18 years old in a gold bottle & box.
He wants to sell it, but I cant find any information on it.
I would like to know any info about rarity, price, and how much he could sell it for, and where he could sell it? I have a feeling ebay is no the best place to sell it.:)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Amy

Do you mean the Glenfiddich 18 Year Old Superior Reserve? The Whisky Exchange did have a bottle HERE but it is out of stock now, i would guess they were selling it for around £200.

A bottle sold at Mctears whisky auction last month for £160 which was a good price at auction, see here:
http://www.mctears.co.uk/auctions/lot.aspx?id=585de233-7b08-4d24-89d0-7f01494b0239&page=1

If you are looking to sell contact Mctears and let them know what you have and they should give you an estimate and let you know the auction costs.

You could also try ebay but remember to set a reserve price that you are willing to accept.
