Went to the glenkinchie distillery last time I visited Edinburgh. Would like to do another tour but not the same place. Needs to be open close to Christmas day (either side)

Cheers

Many visitor centres shut over the christmas new year period, you would need to check with individual distilleries whether they will be open. Not sure how far you are looking to travel from Edinburgh but Tullibardine and Deanston and even Glengoyne are not too much of a drive from Edinburgh and all worth a visit.

Depends what you class as 'too far' Abalour and Glenturret are only about an hour away by car, easily driveable but with tour time your looking at 4 hours out of your day to go to one.

Aberlour is shut unfortunately. Shame as I would like to have gone their. Glengoyne seems good and some of the upgraded tours look promising. It's 1 and a half hours away though. See if I can persuade my father in law to take me........ Haven't had any Glengoyne so it would be good.

Yay, can go to the glengoyne distillery. Going to go on the teapot tour with 3 cask strength drama. Can't wait!
