Well, tomorrow, Friday November 2nd is my 2nd trip to Toronto with a friend to Feather's Pub in Toronto to try some rarer single malts. The highlight of my first trip was drams of Ardbeg 27 and 32 years and a nice Bunnahabhain. Friday though, I really want to treat myself. So barring any unforseen circumstances, I expect to try the following:
Port Ellen 1978 24 Yr 2nd Release
Port Ellen 22 Yr 1979 CS DB
And then either, Highland Park 30 Yr G&M or Bruichladdie 35 Yr CS Laing.
I heard that they may be out of Brora 30 Yr but if available I may substitute it for the 2 alternates HP30 or B35.
My friend is the DRIVER and just learning about finer single malts so I will pick a few 1/2 ounces for him. Perhaps Glenfiddich 21 DB and Glenlivet 21 Yr Archive DB, two lovely drams. Then we will have a nice lunch at the same venue after our selections, spending a few hours there.
I'm really looking forward to the day and of course will provide feedback on the experience on the Forum and some tasting notes. Wish me luck!

| Enjoy your trip to the Feather's, sounds like a gret bar for the single malt whisky drinker. |
