madeira and sherry wood glenmorangie

hi guys i have 2 bottles of Glenmorangie
madeira wood finish
sherry wood finish
these are the old bottles now hard to find looking for advice keep or sell.

Depends what you think is a price worth selling them for. I would guess you may get £30 to £40 each on a good day in a private sale or auction.

Here is an example of a Glenmorangie madeira wood finish, sherry wood finish and 10 year old which sold for £110 at Mctears auction last month.

sorry I thought the bottles in the link were the older bottles my excuse is i have been drinking . Around 1995 Glenmorangie released three different wood finishes - a Sherry Finish, a Madeira Finish and a Port Finish. Around 2010 these were discontinued and replace with NAS Glenmorangie NAS Quinta Ruban port finish, Lasanta sherry finish and i dont think they replaced the madiera. The Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban and Lasanta now has a 12 year old age statement.

I am not aware of any pre 1995 Glenmorangie Sherry/Madeira/port finish

You wouldnt make a great deal on these selling at auction once you take into account postage and auction costs. Personally i would drink them and enjoy them or tuck them away for a few years and re-assess the market then.
