Complexity is often in the eye (actually taste buds) of the beholder. Living in North America, prices here are higher than in Europe but I can suggest a few interesting possibilities for you:
Caperdonich Over 11 Years (Provenance), distilled 1996, 46%abv
Macallan 14 years, distilled 1995 bottled 2010 (The Coopers Choice), 46% abv _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| I can recommend Mannochmore 1991 from Gordon & Macphails Connoisseurs Choice range from a re-fill sherry cask, fruity, touch of sherry, vanilla, bit of oak and a touch of smoke a bit of everything really, an all round malt and a decent whisky. |

Newhey is spot on. Think that it's a few quid over £50 but still worth it.
Is there anyone who doesn't like a well aged Mortlach, it seems to have universal approval.
LFW have made it their whisky of the year. Read about it on the following link

That's a good enough recommendation for me. |
