Auchentoshan Valinch 2012 - the second edition of this small batch release. Matured in first-fill North American ex-Bourbon oak casks, the Valinch is a cask strength edition of the acclaimed Classic. A youthful whisky, superior to its lower strength Auchentoshan Classic sibling. This is a bigger hitting Auchentoshan with more depth of flavour and a must try for those who enjoy the Classic.

I had a bottle of the Auchentoshan Valinch last year and thought it was a pretty decent no age statement cask strength lowland whisky, which you dont really see many of, or any that i can think of.

The 2012 valinch is fantastic, I'll be getting a few more bottles of this, can't wait to get a bottle of 79 if the wife let's me But no chance of the 66
