What's your opinion regarding the Black Grouse? I've tried the Famous Grouse (Red) and it's OK.
The Black is actually on sale (anything on sale at the LCBO) is a bonus.

| I am not much of a fan of the standard Famous Grouse but I would rate the Black Grouse quite highly as a smoky blended whisky. A nice bit of oak, smoke and malt and a good helping of sweet grain whisky. |

Totally agree with what Fergie has said, definitely worth a try if it is on offer.
Another couple of decent blended whiskies with a nice bit of smoke is Black Bottle and Johnnie Walker Double Black. |
