I find it interesting that the LCBO in Ontario has discontinued selling the Lasanta. Jim Murray gave it a horrible review, talking about the sulphur problem and now its gone from the shelves and officially listed as "discontinued" from their inventory. I have to admit that at first I didn't detect any sulphur but in later drams I could find a hint of it. Interesting development.... _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

LCBO is run by the government of Ontario as a Provincial crown corporation. There are approx. 7,795 people at 630 stores. The corporation decides. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

Maybe is just temporarily out of stock and not discontinued - you can find Lasanta in most whisky shops around the world.
I don't believe that so many people read JM. I am sure that big importer as LCBO in Canada will not withdraw product from one of the most popular brand in the world based on his or any other whisky guru review. Corporations are listening what we with our wallets are saying.
I know many people who really like Lasanta (personally I am not fan of it). |

| Sometimes some whisky companies stop supplying some markets with certain expressions due to world demand being more than the stock availability. I believe that is why they discontinued the Talisker 18 in Canada a while back. I am not saying this is the case with the Glenmorangie Lasanta just that availability is sometimes down to the whisky company and not the shop selling it. |
