Cannot find much info about this but my local Morrisons (Morley) have it on sale at £24.

Is this worth picking up? I have not posted it in the bargains section as I am unsure if it is a bargain or not.

I reviewed it last year when it was released, see here:

Certainly worth a try if it is on offer for £24, that is if the tasting notes appeal to you.

Bowmore Small Batch Reserve isnt a big in your face peaty whisky but a very pleasant lightly peated expression of Bowmore. I personally enjoyed it very much. I didnt realise Morrisons sold it, i will pop in this evening and see if it is still on offer.

What a great dram for being NAS, currently £33 in asda / tesco so at £24 it is a bargin!

Tried it again on wedensday night as part of the Bowmore twitter tasting it was dram no1 out of 4 have a look at the tasting notes over on twitter #LoveBowmore

My notes - Bowmore Small Batch Reserve 40% ABV

Nose - Green sweet ripe apples, spiced wood smoke, Orange waxed Peal, Steeped malted barly, Salted Laimrig (Peir) lol, creamy sticky vanilla pods with a hint of fresh mint from the garden almost earthy

Palate - Getting fresh light and gentle salted smoke orange oils, more citris nice and creamy, Nice creamy toffee / Fudge medium to long peppery finnish
