Here are my taste notes from today for Caperdonich Over 11 Years by Provenance 46%abv.

Neat-

Nose: Candy floss at carnival time, vanilla paired with honey dew melon, honey, oak and cantaloupe, peaches and cream sweet corn, sweet smoke with impending sweet dreams of caramels and fruit cocktail.

Palate: Spicy bolts of lightning, peppery spears, warming, berry/syrupy undertow, green chili reminiscences, old leather, sea salt, hint of menthol and mothballs.

Finish: Creamy, oak, soft new leather and spearmint; clean, woody and smooth.

This dram ranges from Beauty (on the nose) to Beast (on the palate) to Sir Lancelot (on the finish). It presents the equivalent of a multiple personality disorder where balance is secondary to dramatic change from nose to palate to finish.
