They say the Superbowl football game held once a year in the USA is the greatest sports one day spectacle in the world. Tonight, it's the San Francisco Forty Niners versus the Baltimore Ravens. There is a potential worldwide audience of around one billion people in over 200 countries.

My choice of drams tonight is:

Teacher's Highland Cream

8 Year Islay Mist

What are you dramming?

I just realized the game doesn't start until 6:30 pm my time but it's 11:30 pm across the pond in Europe. I expect most folks are sound asleep.

Have just purchased my first bottle of Lagavulin16, it is definately keeping me company for the greatest show on turf.

Baltimore running away with it at the mo.

Will be tough getting up for work in the morning!

Buzzly, sure is a nerve-racking game especially with the power shortage at the stadium.
Exciting. Your Lag 16 is a great side-kick for the game. It's only 10 pm here. You will be tired tomorrow with the 5 hour time diff. It's still worth staying up though.

Cheers.

Think Baltimore needed a TD there.

Looks like I have about 3 hours sleep before work!

Hopefully one day the Bears can get to the big one again. We have just landed the Alouettes coach.

If they don't cripple RG 3 they have a chance.

Growing up in Montreal, the Alouettes were my favorite CFL team. One of their quarterbacks in the 1960's was our temp gym teacher because he was on injured reserve. He threw a hail Mary pass the length of the football field at school and guess who caught it by accident, ME! He pat me on the shoulder after and said: "Good catch kid". I was too young to drink but a Lag 16 would have done me well after all that. Also, my next door neighbor then was a wide receiver for the Alouettes. Have never told those stories before....
