I've had the 8 year old. Not bad. I'm wondering if the 17 is worth getting. It prices at $79 Canadian here. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| The Islay Mist 17 is a decent blend, light peat smoke, smooth, a good bit of vanilla toffee and a bit of oak from its 17 years in the cask. Around £45 here and a very good dram for the price. Sometimes hard to come by, i guess they dont produce it in high volume. The Islay Mist 12 year old is worth a try also. |
