 | I dont think Dalmore would put anything under 60 years old in their premium packaging. |

I have always thought the only thing that must stop the a load of distilleries opening in England would be the water supply, no free natural supply like we have in Scotland. |

New bottle released during the Spirit of Speyside festival, cost £150, see below.
"Diageo are releasing an exclusive bottling of Mortlach, the highly coveted Single Malt distilled at the heart of Speyside, to celebrate the 2013 Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival. A tantalising non-chill filtered Single Malt of hand-picked casks, each selected to represent the individual aspects of Mortlach's complex spirit. Bottled at 48% volume, this bottling evokes the masterful richness so characteristic of Mortlach with surprising vibrancy and elegance.
Forty-Eight, the perfect strength for this unique expression.
Ticket price includes, transport, in depth tour, tutored tasting of a selection of exclusive Mortlach cask samples plus you very own Mortlach Festival bottling " |

Think they are getting an undersized 650l still so production won't be huge. As far as I am aware they are using tap water, although a spring is not to far away they could use. |

I remember a graffito from The Graffiti File by Nigel Rhys, purportedly scrawled on a toilet wall in Wales:
Do your best, England needs the water.
