|
|
Highland Park has announced the launch of the Highland Park Warrior series which will be exclusive to travel retail and replaces the existing Highland Park travel retail range which will include the Highland Park Vintage series of whiskies.
There will be 6 new expressions in the new Highland Park Warrior Series, 3 released now including
Highland Park Svein
Highland Park Einar
Highland Park Harald these will be followed in the summer of 2013 by
Highland Park Sigurd
Highland Park Ragnavald
Highland Park Thorfinn I have been told that the new expressions showcase what the Highland Park distillery has to offer and will take you on a taste journey, this has been achieved by increasing the quantity of European oak sherry seasoned casks as you move up the range thus delivering the distinctive Highland Park signature taste.
For more info, prices and tasting notes see here:

I will certainly like to try the more affordable ones (for my pocket) as i do like Highland Park. |

Out of interest does anyone know what is the most expensive original distillery bottling, core range (not limited edition), No Age Statement or without a vintage currently on the market
The most expensive NAS/no vintage i can think of is the Glenmorangie Signet at £125 |

Very good question Brummie. In travel retail the Mac Oscuro at 460 and Bowmore springtide at 130 are the ones that pop into my mind. In general retail, the signet as you say _________________ Talisker 18 - the rest are just details |

| Since they introduced the travel retail range i do miss being able to pick up the Highland Park 18 in duty free especially when heading off on holiday as it is a favourite all round whisky for me. |
