|
|
The 3 single malts being featured at my club's dinner and tasting in the beginning of April are as follows:
Benriach 12 YO Sherry 46% abv
Arran Single Cask 55.1% abv*** Only 318 bottles available world-wide
Glencoyne 12 YO non-peated
Anyone tried these? Comments? _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| I had some Benriach 15 PX Sherry Wood Finish earlier tonight and it is superb and i have had the Benriach 12 Sherry Wood in the past and is superb also. IMO these 2 whiskies are by far the best i have personally tasted from Benriach wine cask matured selection. They also hve some decent peated stuff worth looking out for. |

| The Benriach 12 is an outstanding sherried dram, the Glengoyne 12 is a pleasant enough malty, sweet, vanilla, fruity dram it would never blow me away but a drinkable anytime dram. Not had the Arran Single Cask. |

| I'd very much be looking forward to the Arran out of all these, Arran as really starting to turn out some excellent stuff at the moment, that should be a cracker. |
