The Dalmore distillery today announced the launch of The Dalmore Valour a new no age statement expression of The Dalmore which will be available exclusively in travel retail. The Dalmore Valour is a blend of three different casks, American ex-Bourbon, Oloroso sherry and finished in Port Pipes - should be interesting.

I would be interested in hearing reviews of this one, it does sound good although i am not a fan of this no age statement trend with disproportionate prices.

50 quid for a three year old whisky plus E150a .......

(Ok that may be a touch cynical...)

Cynical, but not far from the truth

I have to say i had a bottle of Dalmore Age of Exploration a couple of years ago which was a travel retail exclusive, it was a madiera cask finish and i really enjoyed it.

I have to say, i am not happy with the no age statement releases for premium prices that are appearing now.
