Hi, I saw this on the whisky shop website, this seemed to me a good idea for anyone wishing to own a share in a cask and get a bottle at the end of it, if your one of the first 250 that is.
Wclub members can buy this for £197.99(free delivery until fathers day), yes you can buy a 25 yr cheaper around £180 but if your not a member, your paying £40 for the cask holders pack.
I bought the 25 year and got an email confirming I am one of the first 250
Roll on 2037
Has anyone else bought one?

Sounds like a great promotion if you're reasonably young. If I went in, I would be 86 years old when my bottle was ready, if I'm still walking on the peat at the time, i.e., among the living. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| I will be 68 in 2037, I am hoping to go visit every year but hopefully my nephew will be a whisky connoisseur by then and I can transfer it over to him. |

| I had a look at this the other day, The Whisky Shop was pushing it in there email newsletter, i am too impatient to wait 25 years. Could be a bargain though the way prices are going, god only knows what we may be paying in 25 years time for a Glenmorangie 25 year old. |

| Hi Studogg37, could you tell me how you managed to register for the commemorative bottle please? I just bought one of the Generations of Wisdom bottles, and in the pack it said go to the Glenmorangie website to register, but there doesn't seem to be any link on there to do so. Just hoping i'm in time and haven't missed out on the offer, I've had the bottle on order since March but it's only just arrrived. |

I collected my winning Shareholder Pack on Friday at Glenmorangie
I ended up getting a private tour and loads of tastings at the end, including the Signet and 25yr, both were superb. They also gave me a goodie bag to take away, with some 3cl samples.
The cask was not available for viewing but I am planning another visit in July/August so I am hoping I can see it then.
Cheers |
