The 3 single malts being featured at my club's dinner and tasting in the beginning of April are as follows:

Benriach 12 YO Sherry 46% abv

Arran Single Cask 55.1% abv*** Only 318 bottles available world-wide

Glencoyne 12 YO non-peated

Anyone tried these? Comments?

I had some Benriach 15 PX Sherry Wood Finish earlier tonight and it is superb and i have had the Benriach 12 Sherry Wood in the past and is superb also. IMO these 2 whiskies are by far the best i have personally tasted from Benriach wine cask matured selection. They also hve some decent peated stuff worth looking out for.

The Benriach 12 is an outstanding sherried dram, the Glengoyne 12 is a pleasant enough malty, sweet, vanilla, fruity dram it would never blow me away but a drinkable anytime dram. Not had the Arran Single Cask.

I'd very much be looking forward to the Arran out of all these, Arran as really starting to turn out some excellent stuff at the moment, that should be a cracker.
