William Grant & Sons has reported yet another record year in travel retail for 2012 where Glenfiddich became the first ever single malt Scotch Whisky to sell more than 1 million cases in a single year. All of the company's core brands including Glenfiddich, The Balvenie, Grant's, Tullamore Dew and Hendrick's Gin have grown by value over the past year, with volume sales significantly above expectations.

They expect sales to increase further in 2013 with the launch of the Travel Retail exclusive The Balvenie Triple Cask range, comprising of 12 year old, 16 year old and 25 year old variants. Also The Balvenie Tun 1401 Batch 7 will be released soon exclusively in travel retail.

Recently Glenfiddich added the Glenfiddich Age of Discovery Red Wine Cask Finish to its popular Age of Discovery travel retail range. And in December 2012 they launched the new Glenfiddich 125th Anniversary Edition exclusively to travel retail.

I will certainly be trying the new Balvenie Triple Cask range when i get the chance, hopefully the 25 year old isnt priced to high but i think the 12 and 16 should be well within my budget. Also wouldnt mind getting my hands on a Glenfiddich 125th Anniversary Edition.
