A classic tune, but both links go to the same Irish version of Andy Stewarts classic tune.

Very good, cheers Quaich1, hadnt heard that for ages. Just played it to my girls (age 4 and 6) who wondered what i was listening to, they loved it and were dancing around the room trying to do highland dancing Very Happy

Scottish Soldier got regular play on the jukebox in a pub that my friends and I used to frequent to play pool when we were playing truant (y'know, kids have a hard life these days, don't think that would be very easy now). The B-side was Campbeltown Loch, which is also the ringtone on my mobile. Very Happy

I saw a documentary about Andy Stewart on Scotttish Television around christmas, he was forever touring Canada, US and Australia.

I will always remember him for Scottish Soldier.
