| I am sure there is no problem posting the list of whisky here which you wish to swap. |

Hi I wasn't sure if I could list all here in case it was regarded as a sale?
Anyway as it appears to be ok,
I have been given the following:
6 x jack Daniels
12 x aberlour 10yr old
6 x glenfidditch 12 yr old
6 x singletons 12 yr old
6 x glenmorangie (can't remember the age but can confirm later)
Looking online I make it to be around £800-£900 worth at full retail - I would be happy to accept a single bottle valued at around £450-£500 mark, dependant on your location (obviously I can't just post these items)
Anyway I'd be interested in offers, I accepted them as payment thinking I would store them and see if they are worth some money in the future but am now thinking they take up quite a bit of space |

If they are recent bottlings then they are only worth keeping if you were going to drink them and i really cant see anyone wanting to exchange for these if they are recent bottlings as they can all be picked up for a decent price in a high street supermarket.
If they are old bottlings from say the 1960s/70s/80s/90s then it is a different story. |

Hi thanks for you reply, they are recent and having thought about it I figured they'd be best drunk now, far too much for me though! Lol - looks like I may have got myself a bad deal and should of held out for normal payment!!
Still the offer stands if anyone is interested
I may even consider a swap for something non whisky if it helps - apologies if I should post that in here, if so let me know and I'll delete that sentence?!!
Cheers |

I've changed the title as I would also consider selling these bottles, I fully appreciate I wouldn't be getting a huge amount but I'm having to write this off as a bad idea and there is no point me just sitting on all this whisky, Whilst the original offer still stands I would be happy to sell as individual or by the case, please contact with any offers.
I do have a paypal account and could probably deliver in the south west region but if anyone is interested then please get in touch
regards |

| Just a thought but perhaps a local shop who sells whisky would buy it off you, do you know any shop owners or have friends who know any. |

Hi thanks for the idea I don't unfortunately know anyone in that position
I've just checked postage charges and it is quite high
Another idea I've had is to offer the following
2 x aberlour, 1 x jack Daniels 1 x glenfidditch 1 x singletons and 1 x glenmorangie
Delivered for £85(excluding some remote areas where postage is more expensive)
Four of these offers on the table, I won't get much from this deal but saves the whisky being wasted and at least they'd be going to a home that loves them?! |
