Morning guys, fellow whisky/whiskey lover here. Just joined so thought I'd introduce myself.
Im Chris, from Cardiff in rainy Wales, started drinking whisky at a st 18 when I thought JD was the be all and end all. Last couple of years I've graduated to nicer stuff, Woodford reserve, JD single barrel and Jura to name a few. Only really got into whisky seriously the last couple of months though when I acquired a bottle of Glenfiddich snow phoenix whilst on my honeymoon recently. Hoping to acquire many more in the future and learn more from the knowledgeable folk on here.

Welcome to the forum Chris.
Any questions and the like just ask the anow phoenix was a very well received dram by most of the folks here so you'll be in good like minded company. As for JD being the be all of whisky..... let's just say we've all been there |

| Welcome welshy13, you will find it tends to be quiet on here and indeed any whisky forum early in the morning. I have found the forum to be a great source of whisky info and news of new releases and it has directed me to some superb whiskies i otherwise would not have known about. |

Hi Welshy. Greetings from a Canadian member of the Forum. We always like to encourage single malt scotch aficionados here on the Forum and help anyway we can to answer questions, provide information, etc. Welcome aboard.

Hi all,
Just another new member jacking the thread to say hello! From Coventry (not born and raised though) and been into drinking whisky since i was about 17 and was having my dads bells! Decided to move on and up and can now boast Macallan 18 among my drinking cllection. I tend to drink my whisky and got the other half involved although have some bottles i am keeping for a rainy day/house deposit.
