Digging around the web after learning from this board that there was a Canadian cask of dreams after the US version, it seems Nordic will be the third .... barrels rolling around these countries at the moment, using local oak and a swedish cooper, release next may, same back story as the first two. A couple of websites also suggest a fourth and possibly fifth release in years to come but no info on the coutries involved
.

It reminds me of the old Bob Hope and Bing Crosby "Road" movies, using far away international backdrops for their movies and they were ALL interesting and unique. Seems we have the same trend going on here with the Cask of Dreams. Cool.... Very Happy

Glenfiddich have just launched the Glenfiddich Cask Of Dreams Nordic Oak Edition. Oak casks made in the Nordic and from oak grown in the Nordic were used to finish this special limited edition expression of Glenfiddich, it is the first time a Scotch whisky has ever been matured in Nordic oak casks.

Glenfiddich Cask of Dreams Nordic Oak Edition will be available exclusively on the Viking Line for travel retail and the rest of the bottles will be launched in the various Nordic (Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland) domestic markets.
