Arran distillery's Demonic Distiller James MacTaggart has once again delved into the darkest recesses of the Arran warehouses to select the casks for this second release in this un-holy trinity of devilish drams.
More info and a teaser video here:
www.scotchmaltwhisky.co.uk/arrandevilspunchbowl2.htm
The Arran Devil's Punch Bowl Chapter II was bottled at natural cask strength of 53.1% ABV, without chill-fitratrion. The number of every cask in Chapter II are listed in the box and there are only 666 bottles available in the UK market priced around £65, do you dare to dram with the devil!
I am guessing here but I think Arran Devil's Punch Bowl Chapter II will be released later this week, possibly on Saturday 29th which is Arran distillerys 18th aniversary as Arran went into production on the 29th June 1995. The Arran Malt and Music Festival takes place on Saturday and should be a fantastic day and if you fancy attending the festival see the Arran website for more info and tickets:

Should be a great day, i am annoyed that i wont be able to make it. _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |

I had it confirmed today by Arran, the Devils Punch Bowl 2 Angels & Deomons will be launched on Saturday 29th June and it will be available from UK stockists in the next couple of weeks.
A vatting of 27 casks ranging from 1997 to 2004, here is a bit more details on the casks:

| The first Arran Devils Punch Bowl does seem to do well at auction even though it was widely reported that it was badly sulphur tainted. I do fancy this but i think i will await reviews on it first. |

I only remember Jim Murray mentioning sulphur, and we all know that his comments should be taken with a pinch of sulphur |
