It seems sold out in several of the top whisky online shops. It was going for about 300 pounds. I imagine a 40 year old sherry wood would have a lot of potential. Do you have one? _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| you may find more interest in this one south of he border. Seriously it could be of great interest to some and could prove to be a good investment |

Not a well known distillery, so the investment potential I would think is very low. It may well be a fabulous drink though, a 40 yr old sherry bomb for £300 assuming you paid retail - cheaper than pretty much any other 40 year old. _________________ Talisker 18 - the rest are just details |

| Not sure really how much value the year 1966 football connection would add but you may find a fanatical whisky drinking football fan who would pay a lot for this in years to come and bottles from 1966 will be becoming very very rare in the not too distant future. And as others said £300 for a 40 year old is pretty good. |

Agreed. Which just goes to show what an amazing bargain the Aldi Glenbridge 40yo was at £50 a bottle!! |
