So I was daydreaming today about owning a whisky bar, where it'd be.. what it would stock..

Suffice to say I'll have mine in NYC, a big open fire and with no wall visible due to all the whisky Wink. Glencairn (or similar) glasses only Wink

Thought it might be a fun wee topic?

So thinking outside the box, how about "Silent Still Fridays" where vintage quality and aged 1/4 oz. "drams" are available from silent distilleries at a very economical rate at this hypothetical bar. The bar sits 150 enthusiasts so a full house at these prices could yield a neat profit.

That would make two series of smoky, peaty expressions; let's add all the Glenmorangies for a little sweet and fruit.

William with a 157 million pounds win and a free Forum members bar, I bet you would even kick in for air fares from across the pond to the bar for some of your regular members abroad.

That goes without saying but dont go making any plans yet as i have never had more than 3 numbers up in the Euromillions draw.

We've got a wee whisky lottery syndicate going on twitter... forget the bar, we'd have to build a distillery if we won!

Probably a better idea to buy a existing distillery with a warehouse full of mature stock for us to choose from.
