Be very careful if you buy a Riedel whisky tasting glass, very expensive and very fragile as i have found to my cost.

I recieved a few Riedel whisky glasses as gifts and most broke while being washed, very fragile but excellent glasses but to be honest the Single Malts of Scotland glass from The Whisky Exchange is great value and much tougher.

I do prefer a glass with a stem and the riedel whisky tasting glass is excellent but very fragile as others said above, much cheaper options out there.
