When bidding on online auctions, If there are two (or more) bottles you are interested in at the same price but one has not yet reached the reserve (the other has no reserve) I always bid on the one without the reserve. I guess I want to reward the sellers faith in their bottle over someone who is clearly in it for the profit.

Are their different views?

I'm with you on this one. Plus there is always the chance you pick upa bargain

No different here, i would be bidding on the bottle with no reserve and as albo says there is a chance you will pick up a bargain.

It just always surprises me that more often than not the one with the largest price hasn't reached the reserve.. Unless its the seller bidding up their own product
