I have visited a few distilleries but never had the chance to do a brewery tour. I thought about visiting Guinness one time when in Dublin but talked myself out it as i thought that would have been very touristy, i went to a great wee Irish pub for a long lunch instead |

Hi Alun. Yes, they poured me a sample on tap when I arrived, provided a full bottle during the tour which lasted over an hour and offered me another sample after the tour. The beer I had was made the week before. I had the filtered Pilsner but they did have an umfiltered version usually at the brewery which they were out of when I was there. I'm sure you would have enjoyed the whole experience. Cheers. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

The staff were very friendly and went out of there way to make me feel at home. They joked a lot with each other and the mood was uplifting. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| Sounds like a nice way to spend an afternnoon, in a brewery, i hope the Blue Jays-New York Yankees game was a good one. |

James, the game had it all: My seat was almost right on the field at the 3rd base line, equal to a seat right behind home plate for vision and enjoyment; the Yankees needed to win or have no chance for the play-offs; a controversial player from the Yankees (Arod) was booed as he is at every ball park in the USA and now here in Canada, and the most notable Yankees closer pitcher, Mariano Rivera known as "The Sandman" was brought in at the end of the game to win it for the Yankees. Even though I'm a Jays fan, you had to enjoy the dynamics of this one even though New York won. The Steam Whistle brewery tour prior to the game contributed to a perfect day. Thanks for asking.
