Thought I'd cross post this from the Tesco thread in the whisky bargains forum as there's more traffic here. Interesting bottle in my local Tesco! They're heavily discounting Glen Salen Blended Malt from £26.50 to £16 (IIRC). The back of the bottle states '3 years old' so I have never been tempted at the full price but that's quite a substantial discount. The thing is it seems this brand was created for the American market and it retails over there for c.£13 for a 750ml bottle, suggesting that even the discounted price isn't the greatest value.
