Anybody try this Dalmore expression? Goes for 140 pounds equivalent in Ontario. Is it something special?

I have only sampled this at a tastings on a couple of occasions but i was never inspired to buy a bottle at £120 a go, it is different from the typical sherried Dalmore, a blend of a few different casks in the mix i believe. It was a decent enough expression and a good age i think, Dalmore are certainly not trying to pawn you off with a young whisky at a premium whisky price. Certainly one for Dalmore fans to try.

Tried this on Saturday for the first time at The Whisky Exchange Show London, same thoughts as you, OK but not good enough for me to spend over £100.00

The various types of casks used in the vatting for the Dalmore King Alexander III have been chosen very well and it is a great dram but the price is the stumbling block for me, half the price and it would be one i would buy again.
