Anybody try this Dalmore expression? Goes for 140 pounds equivalent in Ontario. Is it something special? _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| I have only sampled this at a tastings on a couple of occasions but i was never inspired to buy a bottle at £120 a go, it is different from the typical sherried Dalmore, a blend of a few different casks in the mix i believe. It was a decent enough expression and a good age i think, Dalmore are certainly not trying to pawn you off with a young whisky at a premium whisky price. Certainly one for Dalmore fans to try. |

Tried this on Saturday for the first time at The Whisky Exchange Show London, same thoughts as you, OK but not good enough for me to spend over £100.00 |

| The various types of casks used in the vatting for the Dalmore King Alexander III have been chosen very well and it is a great dram but the price is the stumbling block for me, half the price and it would be one i would buy again. |
